Integrated 3D-GIS Based Water Resources Information System

The project pertains to Integrated Water Resources Real Time Information System using 3D-GIS for water allocation and regulation. It visualized and assessed inundated area using 3D. Water data such as streamflow, groundwater, rainfall are overlayed with digital aerial photos and ortho-photo. Real time data are transmitted at the data center and used for decision and policy making. Monitoring of dam water level and rainfall data fluctuations are made easier through the use of GIS technology.
