Abstract
How Bexar County Uses Esri to Simplify Pavement Preservation
Track: Public Works

After years of relying on spreadsheets and physical assessments, Bexar County has streamlined its pavement preservation process with Esri's suite of tools. Crews no longer have to drive across the 1200 sq. mile county to visit damaged roads and determine how to repair them. Instead, they visually assess cracks and rutting from their desk—saving countless hours of labor and drive time. It used to take the County several months to plan its annual pavement projects; now it takes just a few weeks.
