Risk Management in Transportation System

With increasing climate effect and an increasing use of roads and railroads it is important to be aware of the risks associated with the existing infrastructure and the different output of possible nature related incidents.
Vulnerable spots are identified by using different GIS based models. The modeling results are providing valuable input to field studies which results in a risk classification on a detailed level. The tools for performing the analysis and field study are based on ArcGIS.
