The Emerging Role of Enterprise GIS in State Forest Agencies

The Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) uses ArcGIS to support its core mission; manage and protect an economically sound, and environmentally sustainable and healthy wood product, helping landowners conduct responsible forest management and educating the general public about the value of forests. This presentation will highlight how ArcGIS Online apps have been designed to meet specific mission critical objectives for strategic decision-making and for managing forestry operations at the AFC.
