Improve Efficiencies Inspecting and Maintaining Fire Hydrants with GIS

Traditionally, GIS and asset management have existed separately with users switching between platforms to complete their work. Castle Rock changed that by connecting ArcGIS Online with Cartegraph. With mobile tools, the staff now has easy access to comprehensive GIS data and asset history from anywhere and can make smarter, quicker decisions in the field. With the platforms connected, the water utilities staff has improved its efficiencies inspecting and maintaining fire hydrants by 43%.
