The Web-Based Local Population Projection Tool

The Local Population Projection Tool (LPPT) is a web-based GIS tool that projects city-level population by age and sex. LPPT features an ancillary ArcGIS Online web app created to integrate a spreadsheet model, GIS, and Web AppBuilder. This presentation shows how to apply GIS to predict future traffic accident victim occurrences. LPPT will be a useful public participation tool for developing SCAG’s Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy.
