Spatial Processing Redefined with SAP HANA

SAP HANA utilizes an in-memory column store architecture for all kinds of data, e.g. business, unstructured, graph and spatial data.
This enables very high compression ratios and incredible query accelerations due to hardware optimizations and massive parallelization.
SAP will explain how the spatial engine is leveraging these concepts for storing large amounts of data and accelerating spatial algorithms and demonstrate it with a unique feature: Spatial clustering in the database.
