Pereira Passos Institute, department of Rio de Janeiro City responsible for its GIS system, has recently established the Municipal System of Urban Information. Using ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online, it performs the production and integration of data from several sources, in partnership with other departments. This solution brings innovation in the municipal administration, providing a corporative database with information for efficient planning, implementing and monitoring of public policies.
