911 Dispatch Centers rely on computer aided dispatch (CAD) systems to send the right first responder to the right location in the shortest possible time. GIS data is at the heart of their CAD systems and this presentation will provide tips and tricks for optimizing the data for this critical public safety environment. Application will be shown for Spillman Technologies CAD system but the information has relevance for other systems.
