Submitting an accurate timely Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) Application requires an analysis of threatened areas including fuels, terrain, infrastructure, population and structure information. The Standard Operating Guidelines allow field personnel and non-GIS staff to submit a standardized FMAG application within 2 hours for a fire using spatial analysis data and maps developed ahead of time. Premade maps have switchable layers and data tables showing potential losses and impacts.
