The trend of GIS users wanting to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for mobile GIS data collection continues to grow. Also, the cost of high-precision GNSS receivers continues to decline. Therefore, connecting consumer smartphones and tablets with high-precision GNSS receivers is becoming a standard. Mobile GIS software is an important piece to the puzzle. This presentation will provide an overview of the different workflows.
