Mapping Partnership Activities for Watershed, Fish, & Wildlife, USFS
Track: Conservation
Authors: Joe Encinas
The Watershed, Fish, Wildlife, Air, and Rare Plants (WFWARP) staff, US Forest Service, has implemented a mapping system, Watershed Improvement Tracking (WIT), to capture partnerships for agency conservation programs. The primary role of this system is to map and report watershed, wildlife, and fish conservation activities as accomplishments for performance measures. An integrated feature of WIT is the financial accounting of agency appropriated and contributed dollars by partners.
