Interactive Maps for Coordination of a Large-Scale Seismic Survey

The Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Partnership successfully implemented ArcGIS to manage field activities for a 37 square mile seismic survey in rural Montana using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. The interactive map allowed non-GIS users to track permit progress for over 50 landowners while eliminating version control issues and miscommunications and view GPS tracking data to ensure permit compliance. The map increased efficiency of the crews and provided a valuable tool for project management.
