Consumers Energy’s (CE) corporate goals include being ranked in JD Powers 1st Quartile in Customer Satisfaction. Utilizing Geospatial technology is achieving this goal. CE has taken initiatives to increase the validity and integrity of their GIS data which support mission critical business processes. This presentation details how CE is leveraging Esri based GIS tools for QA/QC processing to validate and report on data being collected in the field for use in CE’s Esri based Electric GIS.
