Abstract
USFS Stream Temperature and Aquatic Resources Data for the Western US
Track: Water Resources
Authors: David Nagel
US Forest Service Research is engaged in regional-scale research projects to conserve native trout in the western US. These projects have generated extensive spatial aquatic resources data, primarily built on NHDPlus flowlines, and now freely available to the public. The datasets include, mean August stream temperature, cold water habitats for threatened trout, stream flow metrics, unconfined valley bottom polygons, nationwide dendritic flowlines, and environmental DNA fish sample locations.
