Abstract
Creating a ‘bare-earth’ DTM from Pixel Correlated Elevation Data
Track: Imagery
Authors: Carey Gibson, Kent Todd
Between 2013-2016, The Ontario government has acquired seamless coverage of leaf-off 20cm stereo digital photography and a Semi-global Matched (SGM) point cloud for central and southern Ontario. Methods have been developed to classify and edit and assess the accuracy of the elevation data for creating a bare-earth Digital Terrain Model (DTM). This presentation will provide an overview of a number of ESRI algorithms, workflows and accuracies for the DTM products.
