NSGEM: Innovation and Advancement of Navy GIS Technology

The Navy Shore Geospatial Energy Module (NSGEM) provides a case study of how several, disparate [tabular] data stores were leveraged, by the United States Navy Energy Program, to visualize energy consumption within an enterprise framework. This presentation will outline how the Navy united these data stores using geospatial technologies with a special emphasis on the evolving nature of how this data is being stored and served up since its inception.
