How GIS Can Help with Tribal Safety Planning

The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of emerging GIS apps that assist Tribes in transportation safety planning. This presentation is a great way to learn how GIS is being applied in the field. We show the potential for emerging technologies in GIS to enhance the collection, availability, and use of safety related information. The story map app allows the Tribal Transportation Safety Plan to be analyzed and displayed as an interactive story.
