Mobile in Missouri: A Mobile Collection Solution for a Superfund Site

Mines, smelters and mills historically operated in Jasper County, Missouri from the 1930s to 1950s. This lead to heavy metals contamination in soils, streams and ponds. Using Collector and ArcGIS Online, we created a mobile data collection solution to help identify areas of contamination, increase field data collection efficiency, centralize analytical data and track project progress for a 300 acre former mining site. The solution saved the project over 60 hours of manual data entry time.
