Geologic field mapping involves a mix of hand written field notes as well as digital maps of specific areas. Our goal is to integrate and geo-tag field data in a graph-database that allows for semantic processing of the data using an ontology, and finally use Augmented Reality to view while still in the field. We will improve the automated discovery of data relevant to a specific field location to visualize data in the field and promote real-time analysis and collaboration while in the field.
