Abstract
Lidar Breakdown: Concerns, Trends & Data Availability
Track: 3D GIS
Authors: Eric Morris
Lidar is a 3D remote sensing technology allowing for a number of new avenues for geospatial integration. NOAA's Digital Coast has been a conduit for expertise and publicly available lidar to coastal constituents for over 17 years.
This presentation will provide an overview of coastal concerns regarding lidar technological trends with cognizance of environmental and logistic variables. A demonstration of the Digital Coast's capabilities will include discussion of ArcGIS framework integration.
