Abstract

National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlusHR) Status

The U.S. Geological Survey has begun work to create a National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlusHR) using the High Resolution (1:24,000-scale or better) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) - Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), and the Watershed Boundaries Dataset (WBD). The NHDPlus HiRes will form a single scalable hydrologic frame of reference. This presentation will discuss an introduction to NHDPlus HiRes and the production status.
