Access to healthcare providers and facilities is a key indicator of appropriate and efficient utilization of services. Building on past successes using ESRI Business Analyst, BCBSTN is currently developing an ESRI server solution to create a five billion line table that will contain all distance and drive time relationships between providers and members. This table will be the base layer for geo-spatial analytics and models, and a key resource in making data-driven business decisions.
