Completing a Statewide Data Improvement Project

This session will provide an overview of a Kansas GIS data improvement project that will result in a statewide GIS dataset used by multiple agencies. Presenters will describe the coordinated efforts to develop a GIS data standard, data remediation efforts, Conflation and Aggregation of roadway data, Design and Implementation of scalable Enterprise Data Management Systems, and the establishment of ongoing maintenance to meet public safety NG9-1-1 and transportation needs.
