Converting spatial data from MineSight into GIS friendly formats is not always straightforward. The built-in export to shapefile functions ignore valuable attributes that are critical to GIS users. We will present lessons learned using the Data Interoperability extension to create custom Spatial ETL tools to export robust geologic data from MineSight.
