Geospatial Analytics for the Dynamic Deployment of Ambulances

A decision support system (DSS) based on geospatial and advanced analytics models for the management of emergency medical services will be introduced. EMS assets for responding to emergency medical events can be more optimally pre-positioned to respond via dynamic deployment protocols. Historical call patterns were utilized to develop these protocols. The DSS made use of the ArcGIS platform as the core geospatial analytics engine. Improvements in operational outcomes will be highlighted.
