Enterprise Solution to Field Survey at CSX

Our Field Survey team utilizes custom built ArcGIS Mobile solutions to checkout data from the eGIS using ArcGIS Server. We complete the surveys in the field with various ArcGIS Mobile apps and then check the data back into the replicated DB. Technicians use ArcGIS desktop to QA/QC the data and push it up to the source DB for publishing to the enterprise. The presentation will outline these steps and discuss pros/cons, lessons learned and future states and tools.
