What should the MOOC 'GEOINT & the Geospatial Revolution' teach? The reply was “teach the principles.” But, what are the principles? Principles are critical because they guide thinking, allows the analyst to cope, and encourage professional judgment. I propose the principles. GEOINT seeks geospatial knowledge for a decision advantage, occurs as a sensemaking sequence, reveals human intent constrained by nature, anticipates patterns of life, and data and technical systems are a human creation.
