Fishers AVL: Fleet Tracking directly to GIS with GeoEvent Processor

Fishers DPW worked with Fishers IT to identify a need to track all vehicular assets in real time and determined no hosted solution would completely satisfy their requirements. Fishers deployed an in house, native ESRI based solution that utilizes ESRI’s GeoEvent processor to deliver real time vehicle asset management. This project provides transparency into the day to day operations, while increasing productivity, increasing driver safety, and reducing operating costs.
