Human-based and natural disasters pose a range of environmental and socio-economic risks that have different value among stakeholders. We developed the Spatially Weighted Impact Model (SWIM), a Python-based ArcGIS tool, to evaluate potential risks from disaster scenarios and incorporate user weights to provide an analytical output of geospatial data and potential impacts. SWIM’s robust and user-friendly interface allows GIS and non-GIS users to explore and compare multiple management scenarios.
