Utilizing GeoEvent Server to Affectively Identify Risk

Flood forecasting and Dam project operation environments are constantly changing and evolving. Decisions have to be made in real time and require real time data. Utilizing the GeoEvent extension to provide a mash-up of weather and precipitation data that is filtered for specific events, dramatically increases situational awareness, alerting and decision making processes. The improved visibility has benefited the Nashville District USACE Water Management team's awareness and responsiveness.
