LGIM: Laying the Foundation for a GIS-Centric Wastewater Agency

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) recently migrated our GIS to the ArcGIS platform, leveraging the Local Government Information Model (LGIM) to provide a foundation for a GIS-Centric operation. The standardized LGIM schema – together with Esri-provided maps, applications, and tools – enabled CCCSD to more tightly couple our various operations software systems with the GIS. This presentation will share the challenges we overcame and the resulting success of our new GIS workflows.
