The New Age for GIS Sewer Planning at the City of Los Angeles

The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation (LASAN) is responsible for operating and maintaining one of the world’s largest wastewater collection systems. This presentation focuses on how staff uses an ArcGIS-integrated application with existing workflows to provide capital planning recommendations. Techniques and requirements for these types of analyses will be presented with a working demonstration how to perform a detailed Risk Assessment and developed a complete Rehabilitation Plan.
