Working together with the NWS Baltimore / Washington Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Sterling, VA and the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) at Reisterstown, MD, a NOAA funded project using GeoCollaborate and ESRI software provided the WFO forecasters solutions to improve the provision of Impact­- based Decision Support Services (IDSS) to emergency management and NWS mission partners through the use of web maps and GeoCollaborate cloud-based web map collaborative services.
