This project analyzes the relationship between landscape composition and residential property value in the Richmond, Virginia region. ArcGIS Spatial Analyst and FRAGSTATS were used to quantify spatial variation in landscape composition and relationship to economic values. The audience will learn about the use of geospatial technology in economic valuation modeling. Final results will include derived relationships and how this information is applied in a conservation planning context.
