Developing 3D GIS Platform with Ground LiDar Data

Typical GIS systems provide various 2D images including aerial photographs, land registration maps, topographic maps, and others. Many local governments in Korea have 3D LiDar (light detection and ranging) data for famous architectural structures. These LiDar show all the details of out-door and in-door properties, to re-construct the realistic high-quality scenes. We aim to an inexpensive platform, to provide integrated display of GIS and LiDar data, based on the middle-level commercial PC's.
