Documenting city infrastructure — from traffic signs to pavement conditions — can spread resources very thin. A new approach replaces the inspector’s toolkit with a phone. Pictures are uploaded in real time, reconstructed in 3D, and integrated with ArcGIS Online to keep GIS data accurate and updated.
