Attribute and Spatial Update of GIS Data at Submarine Base New London

The Navy Base had a need to map all utility and EV data for asset management and operations. Data was from a variety of sources and an incomplete GIS dataset. MCA mapped utility and EV data using GNSS systems and SDSFIE standard to produce a dataset that could be used by personnel. The age of the data as well as completeness due to ongoing projects was a challenge. The data facilitates employees to make informed decisions when planning projects and gives utility managers data modeling options.
