Most of New Mexico is considered rural or frontier making healthcare access difficult. A network analyses showed the percentage of New Mexico's English and Spanish speaking population within a 30 minute drive to an evidence-based program. This analysis helped to plan and allocate resources to increase access to programs, especially in areas of high need. GIS has modernized the way we are able to interactively analyze data, relationships & patterns for a multitude of purposes.
