Streets’ and Urban Land Parcels’ Corporate Database of Rio de Janeiro

This paper presents the design of a corporate streets’ and parcels’ GIS database in the City of Rio de Janeiro and a WebGIS tool for shared edition of this data. The edition of a single database allows all municipal departments to update and share information, following urban land occupation dynamics and infrastructure, including conservation and pavement. This integration is contributing for information sharing and use of an updated database.
