Beyond GeoBase: Extending USAF Geo Integration Impacts

The moving of the USAF Air Mobility Command Geo Integration Office from the Civil Engineer to the Logistics Directorate in FY16 has enabled AMC investments in Esri tools to secure unique impacts beyond installations. This paper will present how the new AMC GIO organizational alignment has revealed beneficial synergies of legacy GIS investments by the Air Force and other Services to address issues of concern to senior decision-makers across the Department of Defense from local to global scales.
