Taking the Written Word to the World Using Web Apps

Using the ArcGIS Online Story Map Journal web app, we created a visual, interactive version of a published Southwestern Region Stakeholder’s Report. Users of the web app can delve into the data behind the story and see the places where these stories take place. This digital creation is the next step of the agency’s innovative approach to engaging with the public. This presentation will discuss the pros and cons of translating a published report into an ArcGIS Online web application.
