Demographic Analysis of Arrest-Related Deaths in the United States

In this report, we examine correlations between arrest-related death (ARD) locations and demographics of the contiguous community. We analyzed 1138 ARD locations occurring throughout the United States during 2015. We develop a statistical analysis using ESRI’s demographic data to determine if there is a significant relationship between the location-specific variables and the ARD. Our findings suggest particular demographic factors are associated with the prevalence and details of ARDs.
