Accessing Environmental Monitoring Data With Web Apps

The South Florida Water Management District openly shares its spatially diverse hydrologic and water quality monitoring data. The District’s legacy kmz-based map access is generated using a licensed data translation product and requires client-side software such as Google Earth. With the District’s shift towards the ArcGIS Online framework, a configurable and focused Monitoring Web App has been produced that runs on any device, requires no client software, and simplifies administration.
