Communicating Conservation Science with Web Maps: TNC’s Resilient Land

Conservation science products are only successful if they are understood by conservation practitioners who can implement them. The Nature Conservancy has a major project mapping climate-resilient sites. Recognizing the need to communicate this scientific output, we developed a web map using the ArcGIS JavaScript API that allows these data to be easily visualized and analyzed. The web map includes a custom analysis tool where users can assess an area of interest and receive a summary data report.
