Habitat enhancement projects -migration barrier removal, fish passage supplementation, erosion control- have been completed within the Santa Ynez River watershed to recover the endangered southern steelhead trout. A Story Map Tour provides an interactive format to engage the public with successful enhancement of critical steelhead habitat. Viewers interactively experience each project’s accomplished restoration and visual documentation showcasing the functionality and importance of each project.
