A critical component of emergency response is the ability to quickly and accurately identify the location of the situation. This dynamic environment requires the use of real-time maps that best reflect road reality. Today’s Emergency Management solutions are now including real-time traffic information, reflecting average speeds and incident data. This talk will cover some of the challenges and opportunities related to real-time maps for public safety applications specific to ArcGIS environments.
