Mariposa County Road Atlas for First Responders

An accurate road atlas for first responders was significantly lacking in rural Mariposa County. Emily Meriam spent 2.5 years using the full functionality of ArcGIS Desktop and Data Driven Pages to create a 290 page road atlas. The atlas covers an area over 1,988 square miles. The atlas displays roads, addresses, drainages, landmarks, fire hydrants, parcels, structures, and other topographic features. The atlas has changed the way first responders do their jobs and is saving lives and property.
