The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime traditionally prepared paper maps constructed conventionally in ArcGIS, however,due to the increasing number of field missions it became imperative to streamline this process.The implemented solution relied on programmatic tools and ArcPy libraries.A python script was designed and developed,which was able to generate,automatically,large volumes of cartography.Thus might bring inspiration to cartographers and GIS professionals to think “out of the box”
