Integrating ArcGIS Collector with Web Services for Damage Assessment

The City of Portland initiated the Damage Assessment Field Data Collection System Project after GIS analysts reported difficulty getting data that had been entered into the WebEOC emergency information management system into spatial databases for use in analysis, web services and summary reports. This project evaluated the viability of using Collector and WebEOC web services to integrate the two systems to eliminate duplicate data entry and produce a summary report in the required FEMA format.
